Vice- president Zeng’ Anoka-Ramsey Community College Visit a Success

From Dec 7^th to 11^th 2005, a four-member delegation led by vice president Zeng Zheng of Zhaoqing University paid a visit to Anoka-Ramsey Community College, our sister school in the United States. The delegation was warmly received by the hosts. A new cooperative memorandum was signed to guarantee the smooth arrangement of teacher and student exchange programs. Two presentations about “working and studying at Zhaoqing University” were made and were both well participated. The delegation was kept busy with meetings with faculties, students, visits, all of which made the trip worthwhile. Ms Zeng Yuping, English lecturer from the Foreign Languages Dept of Zhaoqing University, is currently working in Anoka-Ramsey Community College as an exchange faculty teaching Chinese. The delegation also visited Coon Rapids City council, and passed a letter by Zhaoqing Municipal Government, to further enhance the existent sister city relationship.
