The photography course gives students a basic technical, theoretical and practical knowledge using a camera as an art form. As well as an appreciation of historical and contemporary practice the course covers technical considerations such as exposure, film, developing and enlarging images etc.

The main study includes the principles of camera use, light, darkroom techniques, figure photography and other introductory subjects.
